मृत्यू हे आपल्या सर्वांच्याच आयुष्यातलं अंतिम सत्य असतं. मृत्यूची विविध कारणं आणि जागा असू शकतात जे कोणाच्याही हाती नाही. आपल्याला माहित असलेले मृत्यू हे ठराविक कारणांनी आणि पृथ्वीवरच काही जागी, पाण्याच्या खाली असे झालेले असतात. पण आज एका वेगळ्या जागी होणाऱ्या मृत्युंबद्दल अभ्यास करून काही लिखाण करण्याचा मी प्रयत्न केला आहे.
अंतराळवीर संशोधनासाठी अंतराळात जातात तेव्हा ते धाडसीपणानं मृत्यूची चादर ओढूनच सर्व संकटांची कल्पना असतानाही प्रवास करत असतात. माझ्या माहितीप्रमाणे आत्तापर्यंत अशा केवळ १८ अंतराळवीरांचा मृत्यू अवकाशात झाला आहे. त्याबद्दल ज्योतिष शास्त्रात पुरेशी माहिती उपलब्ध नाही. पण ज्योतिष शास्त्रानुसार असे कोणते योग कुंडलीत असावेत ज्यामुळे मृत्यू अवकाशात होतो? ह्याबद्दलचे माझे विचार मी इथे मांडत आहे.
काही अंतराळवीरांच्या कुंडल्या आणि त्यांचा अवकाशात जेव्हा मृत्यू झाला तेव्हाची ग्रहस्थिती अभ्यासल्यानंतर मला ज्योतिष शास्त्रानुसार जे मुद्दे लिहावेसे वाटले ते मी समजावून सांगण्याचा प्रयत्न करत आहे.
अवकाशातील मृत्यू हा थोडा वेगळा वाटला तरीही तो अपघाती मृत्यू याच सदरात येतो. कारण अवकाशयानामधील विविध तांत्रिक बिघाडांमुळे असे मृत्यू ओढवतात. आता हे बिघाड कोणते आणि याचे कोणते परीणाम झाले याचा आढावा घेऊ.
१) २४ एप्रिल १९६७ रोजी व्लादिमिर कोमारोव्ह हे रशियाचे अंतराळवीर सोयझ १ या अवकाशयानातून जात असताना पृथ्वीच्या वातावरणात आल्यावर अवकाशयानाचं पॅराशूट वेळीच न उघडल्यामुळे त्यांचं यान अत्यंत तीव्र गतीनं पृथ्वीवर आदळलं. यात त्यांचा दुर्दैवी मृत्यू झाला.
कोमारोव्ह यांचे अवशेष
२) ३० जून १९७१ रोजी सोयझ ११ मधील ३ अंतराळवीर जॉर्जी डेब्रोव्हस्की, व्हिक्टर पॅत्साएव्ह, व्लादिस्लाव्ह वोल्कोव्ह हे मृत अवस्थेत सापडले. प्रथमदर्शनी कोणताही जीवघेणा अपघात निदर्शनास आला नसला तरी संशोधनानंतर त्या अपघाताचं कारण समजलं. वायुविजनासाठी असलेली झडप व्यवस्थित काम करत नसल्यानं पृथ्वीच्या कक्षात आल्यानंतर त्या तिघांचा गुदमरण्यामुळे (प्राणवायू कमी पडल्यानं) मृत्यू झाला. त्यांच्या शरीरावर निळे डाग आणि कानातून व नाकातून रक्त आल्याचं दिसत होतं. जॉर्जी डेब्रोव्हस्की यांचं शरीर सापडलं तेव्हा थंड पडलेलं नव्हतं, म्हणजे हे मृत्यू पृथ्वीवर यायच्या आधी थोडा काळच झाले असावेत.
३) २८ जानेवारी १९८६ रोजी चॅलेंजर या अंतराळयानाचा उड्डाणानंतर ७३ सेकंदांनीच अवघ्या ४९००० फुटांवर (१५ कि. मी.) स्फोट झाला. त्यातील ग्रेगरी जर्व्हिस, क्रिस्टा मॅकॉलिफ, रॉनल्ड मॅकनायर, एलिसन ओनीझुका, ज्युडिथ रेसनिक, मायकल स्मिथ आणि डिक स्कोबी या सर्व ७ वीरांचा मृत्यू झाला. त्यातील बरेचसे अंतराळवीर हे प्राणवायू न मिळाल्यामुळे गुदमरून मरण पावले असावेत अशी शंका आहे. काहींनी प्राणवायूसाठी असलेली आपात्कालीन व्यवस्था वापरण्याचा प्रयत्न केलाही. पण त्यांच्या यानाचा पृथ्वीवर आपटण्याचा वेग इतका प्रचंड होता (३२० किमी / तास) की त्या धक्क्यानंच ते मरण पावले. हे यान समुद्रात आदळलं, त्यामुळे सर्व लोकांचे अवशेष मात्र हस्तगत करता आले नाहीत.
४) १ फेब्रुवारी २००३ रोजी कोलंबिया या अंतराळयानातून परत येत असताना त्यातील कल्पना चावला, रिक हसबंड, विल्यम मकूल, मायकल अँडरसन, डेविड ब्राउन, लॉरेल क्लार्क आणि इयान रॅमॉन या सर्व ७ अंतराळवीरांचा मृत्यू झाला. पृथ्वीच्या कक्षात आल्यावर या यानाच्या अग्निच्या नियंत्रणात बिघाड झाल्यानं तापमान प्रमाणाबाहेर वाढून यान फुटलं आणि त्याचे तुकडे विखुरले गेले. यात या वीरांचा जळून मृत्यू झाला. पण लक्षात घेण्यासारखी गोष्ट म्हणजे या यानातील बिघाड यानाच्या उड्डाणाच्या वेळीच लक्षात आला होता पण त्याकडे लक्ष दिलं गेलं नाही.
कल्पना चावला
(वरील माहिती इतक्या सखोलपणे देण्याचं कारण इतकंच की सर्व अंतराळवीरांची नावं वाचकांना कळावीत. भारतीय वंशाच्या कल्पना चावला सोडल्या तर इतर अंतराळवीरांची नावं आपल्याला ठाऊक नाहीत. म्हणूनच त्यांना एक प्रकारची मानवंदना देण्यासाठी मी आदरयुक्त भावनेनं सर्व अंतराळवीरांची नावं आणि त्यांच्या मृत्यूच्या तारखा दिल्या आहेत.)
वरील सर्व माहितीचा ज्योतिष शास्त्रीय दृष्टिकोनातून विचार करता यानाच्या उड्डाणाची वेळ अतिशय महत्त्वाची आहे. पृथ्वीवरील प्रवासासाठी आपण जे निकष लावतो त्याचा इथे फारसा उपयोग होणार नाही. पण यानाच्या उड्डाणाच्या वेळची कुंडली पाहिली तर त्यातील द्रेष्काण कुंडली अति महत्त्वाची ठरेल. प्रत्येक राशीचे ३ असे ३६ द्रेष्काण आणि त्यांची ३६ रूपं आहेत. कोणत्याही प्रवासाच्या वेळी शुभ द्रेष्काण उदित असेल तर प्रवास सुखरूप होऊन विजय मिळतो. पण अशुभ द्रेष्काणात मृत्यू किंवा इतर वाईट फळं मिळू शकतात. वरील नमूद केलेल्या चारही अंतराळ यानांच्या उड्डाणाच्या वेळा लक्षात घेता द्रेष्काण कुंडली मांडल्यावर काही मुद्दे लक्षात आले. प्रत्येक यानाच्या उड्डाणाच्या वेळी द्रेष्काण कुंडलीत अष्टम स्थान, अष्टमेश किंवा चंद्र बिघडलेले होते. सोयझ १, चॅलेंजर या दोन्ही यानांच्या उड्डाणाच्या वेळी अशुभ द्रेष्काण उदित होतंच. पण अष्टम स्थानाशी असलेला शनिचा संबंध घातक ठरला. सोयझ ११ च्या उड्डाणाच्या वेळी द्रेष्काण कुंडलीत अष्टमातील बुध आणि शनि, व्ययस्थानातील मंगळ आणि राहू अत्यंत घातक ठरले. कोलंबिया यानाच्या उड्डाणाच्या वेळीही कोणतेही शुभ योग द्रेष्काण कुंडलीत नसून चंद्र अत्यंत अशुभ होता. कोणत्याही कार्याची सुरुवात करताना जे योग असतील तेच योग कार्य पूर्ण करण्यास मदत करतात, कारण त्यांची वाईट फळं एकदा प्रवास सुरु झाला की टाळता येत नाहीत.
अंतराळ प्रवासात आणखी एक महत्त्वाचा मुद्दा म्हणजे ज्या यानाने प्रवास करायचा आहे त्या यानाची बनावट कोणत्या ग्रहाच्या अधिपत्याखाली येते ते पाहणं. गुरू शुक्र हे दोनही ग्रह विमान, अंतराळयान यांच्या बनावटीच्या दृष्टीनं महत्त्वाचे आहेत. मंगळ आणि शनि हे यंत्राचे कारक ग्रह आणि शारीरिक दृष्टीनं विचार करता रक्त, हाडं यांचे कारक ग्रह आहेत. वरील यानांचे अपघात पाहता यान पृथ्वीवर तीव्र वेगाने आदळल्यामुळे काही मृत्यू झालेले आहेत. तर काही मृत्यू रक्तातील प्राणवायू कमी झाल्यानं गुदमरून झालेले आहेत. मंगळ व शनिची तीव्र वाईट फळं इथे पाहायला मिळतात. अशुद्ध रक्तप्रवाह आणि त्यामुळे हृदयावर होणार परीणाम हा खूप घातक ठरला आहे. तरीही जेव्हा एकापेक्षा अधिक संख्येनं अंतराळवीर प्रवास करत असतील तर नक्की किती जणांचा मृत्यू होईल हे सांगणंही शक्य वाटत नाही. संपूर्ण यानाचा विध्वंस झाला तर सर्वच व्यक्तींचा मृत्यू होईल, त्यामुळे गुरू, शनि आणि शुक्र या प्रमुख ग्रहांचा कुयोग असेल तर यानाचा अपघात हे भाकीत करता येईल.
अंतराळवीरांच्या कुंडलीतील नवम स्थान खूप महत्त्वाचं स्थान असतं. कारण ह्या स्थानाशी निगडित मृत्यू हा दूरवर झालेला असतो. आता ह्या सर्वांचा मृत्यू दूरवर म्हणजे अगदी काही वेळा पृथ्वीच्या कक्षेबाहेरही झालेला आढळतो. याचं कारण म्हणजे यांच्या कुंडलीतील नवमस्थानाचा अष्टमेशाशी कुयोग. असा योग असल्यानं अगदी सर्वांचा प्रत्यक्ष मृत्यू अवकाशात झाला नसला तरी त्याचं मूळ कारण म्हणजे यानातील बिघाडाची सुरुवात तेथूनच झालेली दिसते. त्याची पूर्णता पृथ्वीच्या कक्षात झाली आहे असं निदर्शनास येतं. म्हणजेच या सर्वांचा मृत्यू अप्रत्यक्षरीत्या का होईना अंतराळातच झाला. नवमस्थानाशी संबंधित हर्षल आणि प्लूटो हेही एक महत्त्वाचं कारण दिसून येतं. अत्यंत अप्रत्याशित फळं देणारे हे ग्रह जेव्हा नवमस्थानाशी कुयोग करतात तेव्हा असे विचित्र मृत्यू येऊ शकतात. याशिवाय राहू आणि केतू यांनी बनलेला कालसर्पयोग जेव्हा नवम आणि तृतीय स्थानातून होतो तेव्हाही असे योग दिसून येतात.
अंतराळवीरांच्या
कुंडलीतील दशम स्थान हाही एक महत्त्वाचा मुद्दा ठरतो. दशमस्थान हे कर्म स्थान आहे. अंतराळवीरांचा मृत्यू जेव्हा कामाच्या ठिकाणी म्हणजे कर्म करताना होतो तेव्हा दशमस्थानाशी किंवा दशमेशाशी त्याचा संबंध येतो. उदा: कल्पना चावला यांच्या कुंडलीत दशमेश नवमस्थानी आहे. म्हणजेच कार्यरत असताना त्यांचा मृत्यू दूरवर झाला होता हे सिद्ध होतं. हाच मुद्दा आणखी समजून घेण्यासाठी अभ्यासक संशोधक स्टिव्ह आयर्विन यांच्या कुंडलीचा विचार केला तर त्यांच्या कुंडलीत दशमस्थानी चंद्र आहे जो पाण्याचा कारक आहे. दशमेश बुध मंगळ,केतू आणि शनिने युक्त असा द्वितीयस्थानी आहे. बुधाची मृत्यूस्थानावर पूर्ण दृष्टी आहे. त्यामुळे जलचर प्राण्याच्या विषाचा त्यांच्या रक्तप्रवाह आणि हृदयावर परीणाम होऊन त्यांचा मृत्यू पाण्याखाली झाला. कार्यरत असतानाच त्यांचाही मृत्यू झाला ज्याचं कारण दशमस्थान व दशमेशाचे कुयोग हे होय. असो, केवळ अंतराळवीरच नव्हे तर कोणत्याही व्यक्तीचा कर्मस्थानी मृत्यू झाल्यास दशमस्थान हे महत्त्वाचं स्थान ठरेल.
आता मुख्य मुद्दा आहे तो मृत्यूच्या स्थानाचा. अंतराळवीरांचा विचार करायचा तर त्यांच्या अवकाशातील मृत्यूचं स्थान कोणताही ग्रह नसून अवकाशाची अनंत पोकळी हे आहे, ज्याला वस्तुतः 'स्थान'ही म्हणता येणार नाही. याचे कारक ग्रह कोणते असावेत याचाही मी अभ्यास करण्याचा प्रयत्न केला. माझ्या मते नवमस्थान जितकं महत्त्वाचं आहे तितकेच अवकाशाच्या कारक ग्रहांचे नवम स्थानाशी होणारे योग महत्त्वाचे आहेत. अवकाशातील मृत्यूमुळे अशीही एक शक्यता राहते की तिथे मरण पावलेल्यांचे मृतदेह हाती लागू शकणार नाहीत कारण ते अवकाशात विखुरले जाऊ शकतात. याचा विचार करता आकाश तत्वाचा ग्रह गुरू आणि वायू तत्वाचा ग्रह शनि हे ग्रह प्रथम विचारात घेतले जावेत. गुरू हा यानाच्या बनावटीसाठी जितका महत्त्वाचा आहे तितकाच तो आकाश तत्त्वाचा ग्रह असल्यानं अवकाशातील अस्तित्व त्याच्याच अधिपत्याखाली येईल. वायूतत्त्वाचा शनि अवकाशातील वायू, त्यांचा वेग आणि त्यातील घटक यांचा कारक होईल. तसंच शनि हा परीक्षा पाहणारा ग्रह आहे. अनेकदा अंतराळवीरांच्या मृतदेहाची वाईट अवस्था होते त्यालाही तो कारणीभूत असणार हे उघड आहे. तसंच शनि हा रूपानं काळ्या रंगाचा मानला गेलेला ग्रह आहे. यातील प्रतीकवाद समजून घेतला तर अवकाशातील अनंत काळा रंग हाही शनिचंच कारकत्व असू शकेल असं माझं मत आहे. तसंच शनि हा ग्रह अथांग, किचकट, अतर्क्य गोष्टीही दर्शवतो. त्यामुळे जर कधी दुर्दैवानं यानाचे, पर्यायानं अंतराळवीरांचे अवशेषच मिळाले नाहीत तर अशा गूढ गोष्टीही शनि (क्वचित कारकत्वानं शनिसारखेच असलेले राहू आणि केतू) मुळेच घडतील. जिथे कोणत्याही 'स्थानाचा' पत्ता लागला नसेल अशा अथांग ठिकाणी झालेला मृत्यू शनि सारख्या गूढ ग्रहांमुळे घडू शकेल असं माझं मत आहे.
रवि म्हणजेच सूर्य, ज्याच्याभोवती परीभ्रमण करून आपली ग्रहमालिका जिवंत आहे, तो या सगळ्याचा कर्ता आहे. सूर्याच्या भोवती असलेलं गुरुत्वाकर्षण, तापमान, हवा या सर्व गोष्टींवरही अवकाश यानांचं भ्रमण अवलंबून असतं. त्याचं गणित पाहता अवकाशातील अपघात पाहायचे असतील तर सूर्याचं कारकत्व विसरून चालणार नाही. मात्र यात एक मुद्दा खासकरून सांगावासा वाटतो. आपल्या अवकाशयानांची झेप अजूनही आपल्या ग्रहमालिकेतील काही ग्रहांपर्यंतच आहे. त्यामुळे अवकाशातील मृत्यू हा भाग आपल्या सौरमंडळातील सूर्यावरच अजून अवलंबून आहे. जर यापुढील दूरवरच्या ग्रहांवर मनुष्य जाऊ शकला तर आपल्या आकाशगंगेतील इतर सूर्यांचा विचार करता येईल. आणि त्यावेळी हवामान, पोकळी, हवेचे घटक आणि यानाचा वेग या सर्वांचीच गणितं बदलतील. तात्पर्यानं सध्यातरी रवि, गुरू आणि शनि या प्रमुख ग्रहांवर आणि दशम, अष्टम व नवमस्थानाशी संबंधित ग्रह - योगांवर अवकाशातील मृत्यूचं गणित अवलंबून राहील. कोणताही विशिष्ट एकटा ग्रहयोग याचं कारण बनू शकत नाही. मुळातच अशा फार कमी कुंडल्या असल्यानं अनुभव आणि ज्ञानाच्या सहाय्यानंच याचं भाकीत करता येईल.
जसं आपण कुंडली बनवताना आपलं अस्तित्व पृथ्वीवर आहे हे गृहीत धरून गणित करतो तसंच हेलिओसेंट्रिक ज्योतिष पद्धती नुसार सूर्य हा ग्रह मानून त्याच्यावर अस्तित्व ग्राह्य धरलं जातं. अवकाशातील घडामोडींचा विचार करता सूर्याला मध्यस्थानी धरून कुंडली व ग्रहांचे अंश मांडले जातात. सूर्याच्या तुलनेत इतर सर्व ग्रहांची मांडणी केल्यास अनेक खगोलीय घडामोडींची गणितं सोपी झालेली पाहायला मिळतात. ही पद्धत अजून थोडी नवीन असली तरी त्याचा गणित आणि खगोल शास्त्रात निश्चितच उपयोग होतो. माझ्या मते ह्या पद्धतीचा अवलंब करून गणित मांडल्यास अवकाशातील मृत्यूचं कारण आणखी चांगल्या पद्धतीनं समजावून घेता येईल. पण ही पद्धत पूर्णपणे वेगळ्या सिद्धांतावर बनलेली असल्यानं त्याचा विचार मी इथे केलेला नाही.
अंतराळवीरांच्या कुंडलीतील महादशा आणि अंतर्दशांचा इथे कितपत संबंध जोडता येईल याची मला शंका आहे. त्यांच्या कुंडल्यातील महादशा ह्या त्यांचे सामुदायिक/ वैयक्तिक मृत्यू दर्शवतील. पण त्यातील गूढता मात्र महादशांमधून समजणार नाही. कारण वरील परिच्छेदात नमूद केल्याप्रमाणे आपल्या कुंडल्यांचं गणित पृथ्वीवरील मृत्यू बाबत प्रकाश टाकू शकतील. पण अंतराळातील मृत्यू आणि त्याचं नेमकं स्थान ह्यावर मात्र भाष्य करू शकत नाहीत. मात्र ह्यावरून मृत्यूची शक्यता वर्तवता येत असल्यानं यानाच्या उड्डाणाच्या आधीच याचा विचार करून वरील सर्व परीमाणांशी (विशेषतः चलित ग्रह आणि द्रेष्काण कुंडली) यांच्याशी त्याची जोडणी करता आली तर काही ठोस भाकीत करता येईल.
मी माझ्या अभ्यासामधून मला जे मुद्दे योग्य वाटले ते लिहिण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आहे. ह्या विषयावर खूप कमी माहिती उपलब्ध आहे आणि आपलं विज्ञान अजूनही खूप पुढे जाऊ शकेल, यामुळे यातील मुद्दे काळानुसार बदलू शकतात ह्याची नोंद घ्यावी.

Death is the ultimate truth of our lives. Death can occur at any place due to any reason which is obviously not in our hands. The usual ways of passing we know are due to some imaginable reasons and importantly in the vicinity of the earth or below water etc. Today I am trying to delve into the deaths occurring at unusual places and write about it.
When astronauts go into the space, they wear their suits like armor with bravery and valor, which is second to none. As far as I know, there are only 18 cases of space fatalities. In vedic astrology, not much information is available regarding these fatalities. So, which are some specific yog or planetary positions which can lead to such deaths? I am trying to put up my thoughts on this topic here.
Well, space fatalities may seem to be an odd way of passing, but it comes under the section of accidental deaths. The reason behind it is these deaths occur mostly due to the technical faults of the spacecrafts. Now lets take a look at which are these technical faults and what are the consequences of that.
1) On 24th April 1967 Vladimir Komarov from Soviet Union was travelling through Soyuz -1.
When the capsule began its descent and the parachutes failed to open, and the spacecraft hit the earth with the force of a meteorite. This unfortunately killed Komarov.

2) On 30th June 1971 Soyuz - 11 carried 3 astronauts, Georgy Dobrovolsky, Vladislav Volkov, and Viktor Patsayev which were found dead. Chair of the State Commission, recalled "Outwardly, there was no damage whatsoever". But later on the reason of the accident was revealed. The defective ventilation valve caused this accident and all of them died due to asphyxiation. Al three men were found in their couches,
motionless, with dark-blue patches on their faces and trails of blood
from their noses and ears.
Dobrovolsky's body was still warm, so these deaths occurred just before entering the Earth's atmosphere.
3) On 28th January 1986 Challenger space shuttle broke apart 73 seconds into its flight, merely at an altitude of 15 kilometers (49,000 ft). All of the crew members including Gregory Jarvis, Christa McAuliffe
Ronald McNair, Ellison Onizuka, Judith Resnik, Michael J. Smith and Dick Scobee were killed in this disaster. Most of the crew members suffered due to hypoxia. Though some tried to activate their emergency oxygen, the cockpit hit the water at 320 km/h which killed the survivors if any. As this shuttle hit the sea, the remains of the astronauts were not fully recovered.
4) On 1st February 2003 the Space Shuttle Columbia was lost as it returned from a two-week mission killing all of its crew members including Rick D. Husband, William C. McCool, Michael P. Anderson, David M. Brown, Kalpana Chawla, Laurel Clark and Ilan Ramon. In the atmospheric entry the space shuttle disintegrated. A defect in thermal protection system caused the accident by uncontrollable rise in the temperature and the space craft was broken apart. The pieces of the space craft were disintegrated. The point to be considered here is the fault in the thermal protection system was noticed beforehand but it was neglected by some reason.

( I have provided this information in detail to make all readers aware of the names of these astronauts. Most of the Indians do not know these names except Kalpana Chawla. I have respectfully mentioned their names and the dates of their deaths to salute the bravery of these astronauts.)
Taking into account all these details, the exact launching time of the space shuttles is very important from astrological point of view. The astrological criteria we use for the travelling on Earth may not be much useful here. The Dreshkana kundli at the time of the space shuttle launch will be of utmost importance. Every Rashi has 3 Dreshkanas and thus a total of 36 Dreshkanas exist with their respective forms. During any travel if auspicious Dreshkana is on the rise it gives victory and a safe journey. An inauspicious Dreshkana can result in death or any other ill effects. When I calculated the Dreshkana kundli at the time of the launching of above mentioned 4 spacecrafts, a few important points were found to be critical. In the Dreshkana kundli at the launch of each space shuttle the eighth house, eighth house lord or Moon were debilitated. At the launching time of Soyuz - 1 and Challenger inauspicious Dreshkana was on rise. Along with this Saturn related to the eighth house found to be very malefic. In the Dreshkana kundli at the launch of Soyuz - 11, Saturn and Mercury in the eighth house and Mars and Rahu in the twelfth house created malefic yog. At the launch of Columbia, there were no auspicious yogas in the Dreshkana kundli and the Moon was debilitating. The planetary yogas at the beginning of any mission will affect till the end of the mission as the malefic results of these yogas can not be avoided once the journey has begun.
Another important point to be considered in the space travel is the making of the spacecraft and it comes under the effect of which planets. Jupiter and Venus are the two planets which rule the making of the airplanes as well as spacecrafts. Mars and Saturn are not only important for machinery but also as significations of bones and blood in the human body. Considering the accidents of the above mentioned space shuttles, it can be observed that some of the shuttles hit the earth at a very high speed which proved to be fatal for the astronauts. In some cases the astronauts died due to the asphyxiation. These all results show the ill effects of malefic Mars and Saturn. In the latter cases impure blood flow and it's effect on the human heart seemed to be the reason for the fatalities. Nonetheless, when more than one astronauts travel in the spacecraft, it looks impossible to predict the number of deaths which can occur. If the space shuttle itself is devastated then all the crew members will die, so if major planets like Jupiter, Saturn and Venus make a malefic yog then only such prediction can be made.
In the kundlis of the astronauts, the ninth house is very intrinsic. As a death related to this house usually occurs at a distant place. Now the deaths of the astronauts are not only 'distant' but they can be in the outer space. The main reason behind this is the malefic yog of the ninth house with the eighth house lord. Due to this yog, even if the actual death doesn't occur in the space, it's root cause like the fault in the space craft shows it's effect in the space and the result may occur anywhere from the space to the Earth's vicinity. This shows that even if not directly but the deaths occur in the space. Another important reason behind these fatalities is the relation of Uranus and Pluto with the ninth house. When such unpredictable planets make malefic yogas with the ninth house, such unusual deaths can occur. Also a Kalasarpa yog occurring with Rahu or Ketu placed in the ninth or third house can result in such deaths.
The tenth house in the kundlis of the astronauts is also a very significant point to be considered. The tenth house is the house of deeds. So when astronauts die in the space i.e. at work place, the tenth house or tenth house lord comes into action. In the kundli of Kalpana Chawla the tenth house lord is situated in the ninth house, which supports the fact that she died at the place of work. Lets understand this point with the example of Steve Irwin's kundli. The famous zoologist and scientist had Moon, which rules water, in his tenth house. The tenth house lord Mercury is in the second house along with Mars, Ketu and Saturn aspecting the eighth house. Mercury is completely aspecting the eighth house. So Steve died underwater, due to the effect of the poison from the sting of the Ray which affected his heart. The malefic yogas of the tenth house and it's lord resulted in his death at his work place. Well, not only astronauts but when any person dies at the work place, the most important house to be considered is the tenth house.
Now the most puissant point is the place of death. The 'place' of death of the astronauts (considered here) is the outer space which can not be even noted as a 'place' of death. I studied the planets responsible or ruling such kind of death. According to my study the planets with significations of space and their yogas with the ninth house are as vital as the ninth house itself. The space fatalities have one more bitter consequence that in some cases the remnants may not be recovered as they can be disintegrated in space. Considering this point the planets Jupiter (Akash tatva) and Saturn (Vayu tatva) are to be considered on the primary basis. Jupiter is not only important for the making of the spacecraft but it is equally vital being a planet of Akash tatva, as the existence in the space is ruled by Jupiter. The pivotal role by Saturn can not be forgotten as it being a planet of Vayu tatva it rules the air, composition of air and it's speed in the space. Saturn is a planet which tests the human life. So the severe condition of astronaut's body in the space obviously would betide due to the effect of the Saturn. Also Saturn is supposed to be the planet with a black coloured form in metaphorical explanation. Understanding this symbolism, the darkness in the space can come under the effect of the Saturn. Saturn is a planet which governs mysterious, complex or unfathomable things. So if unfortunately the remnants of the space shuttle or the astronauts are not recovered due to the disintegration in space, it can be the result of the malefic effects of the Saturn (or sometimes Rahu or Ketu). I feel when such unlucky deaths occur at such an infinite place where actual 'place of death' is unknown, then Saturn is the most likely planet to govern such events.
Sun is the real 'star' of our planet Earth which gives life to our solar system. The gravity, temperature and atmosphere around the Sun is one of the important controlling factor of the spacecraft travel. While considering the spacecraft accidents we can not neglect these significations. I would like to highlight a point though. Our space shuttles have their leaps limited to our solar system. So the space fatalities are still contingent on the Sun of our solar system. If in future our science expands the horizons then other Suns in our galaxy can be taken into account. If it happens then the calculations of speed, air, vacuum and pressure will definitely change. Practically at least today the calculations of space fatalities depend on the major planets like Sun, Jupiter, Saturn and the tenth, eighth and ninth house and the malefic yogas by the planets related to these houses. Any precise planetary condition can not be held responsible for the space fatalities. Basically astrologer's experience and knowledge will help to make such predictions due to the scarcity of these kind of kundlis.
Heliocentric Astrology is a very recent development in celestial science which has a very different approach of considering Sun as the birth place in contrast to the Earth which is a common method. In this method Sun is taken as the center point for calculating the alignment of the planets. In my opinion if planetary alignments are with respect to the Sun, the calculations become more applicable. Though this is a fairly new approach, it is a very expedient method for astronomy and mathematics in astrology. I feel a calculation based on this method can help us to understand the reasons of space fatalities in a reformed way. As this method is based on a very different principle, I have not explained it in detail.
I really doubt whether the Mahadasha and Antardasha part of astronauts' kundlis will be useful here. The calculations of Mahadasha may denote their personal or mass deaths. But the mystery of such deaths can not be revealed by the calculations. The reason behind it lies in the calculations based on the Earth as a base in our calculations which will shed light on the deaths on the Earth but not the space fatalities. I am skeptical about it's use in the prediction of space fatalities and finding the 'place' of deaths of the astronauts. Importantly it can predict the death of a particular astronaut, so it should be linked with the timing of the launch of the shuttle and other parameters (like Horary planets and Dreshkana kundli) to make any concrete prediction.
Well, I have mentioned the points which raised through my study on this topic. As the information available for very limited and taking into consideration that the science can develop in future, these points are subject to change at any given time. I request the readers to note this point.
